Molly & Sam

delayed for two years, this really was a long awaited celebration with the bride’s family and friends flown in from the usa.

a beautifully emotional ceremony followed by a gorgeous couple’s shoot in the stunning scenery of the lake district in summer.

Molly rarely wears makeup and was keen to look as natural as possible, so we used a super sheer foundation to cover a few imperfections yet show off her delicate freckles and light shimmers and mascara only which enhanced her big dark blue eyes perfectly. Her long, thick dark hair was styled into big natural, soft waves and the crown was gently pinned with pulled out twists

these two brides certainly knew how to celebrate their big day, with so much laughter and a few joyful tears, all set against pretty lilac and lace with a couple of special personal additions

getting ready in separate rooms was no problem and we knew how each wanted to enhance their own beautiful features having already had a lovely trial session together. We decided to connect their two makeup looks by using the same lipstick on each of them - a universal nude - to create harmony and avoid worries over that first kiss
